Tony Cragg with one of his works, at Exhibition Road, London

British sculptor, Tony Cragg is exhibiting work at the Science Museum until 25 November 2012. Five major new outdoor sculptures have taken over Exhibition Road and six indoor works are on display at the V&A, the Science Museum and the Natural History Museum. Up to 5.5m in size, the works demonstrate Cragg’s pioneering and ambitious explorations between abstraction and figuration, creating forms which bring together references to classical sculpture with motifs from science and nature.

Tony Cragg at Exhibition Road re-imagines the relationship between the road and the museums established following the Great Exhibition of 1851, providing unique artistic links across the sites. The exhibition is part of the London 2012 Festival, a 12-week UK-wide celebration featuring leading artists from the UK and around the world. It has been developed in collaboration with the Exhibition Road Cultural Group.
