The Federation of British Artists presents an exhibition of the landscapes of modern Britain at London's Mall Galleries.

24 January – 16 February 2013

From the hard lines of inner cities to the flurries of green hills, a selection of artists examine the picture of a visually shifting landscape. Capturing views from across the country, ‘The British Scene’ explores what makes Britain so recognizable to its inhabitants, so that they can call each image ‘home’.

Transforming the British scene through paint, pastel and print, this exhibition is an opportunity to reflect on both the familiar and hidden landscapes of the British Isles.

Admission free. All work is for sale.
