In the first of a series of collaborations, Sir John Soane’s Museum (the first museum of architecture in the world) is showing a selection of the highlights from the newest architectural museum in Europe – Berlin’s Tchoban Foundation, Museum für Architekturzeichnung. The show continues until 28 September 2013.

The exhibition  focuses on works by architects rarely seen in British collections, mainly by German and Russian draughtsmen, emphasizing the strong cultural and historical links between these two countries.

The drawings, which form part of the collection of the Berlin-based Russian Architect Sergei Tchoban, range in date from the late 16th century to modernist work.
