‘Turn me on: European and Latin American Kinetic Art 1948–1979’

Closes 7 April 2014
Christie’s Mayfair

‘Turn Me On’, a private selling exhibition of Kinetic Art from Europe and Latin America, presents works that reflect the new artistic tendencies and visual language explored in the post-war period. Created from the late 1940s to the 1970s, these kinetic works explore art in motion in three dimensions, across light and colour, and through optical illusion.

There has been increasing interest in Kinetic and Optical art over the past decade, so this is a good opportunity to see some important post-war art.
