‘Alice in Wonderland’ at Liverpool’s Tate gallery is a magical exploration of the world created by the Victorian mathematician and photographer, Charles Dodgson – better known as Lewis Carroll. The show closes on 29 January but then travels on to Rovereto, Italy and Hamburg, Germany. A new book accompanies the show and opens up Alice’s afterlife as a muse for many artists, from Surrealist Max Ernst to Pop artist Peter Blake.
