Masters and Newcomers: Established members of the Federation of British Artists (FBA) depict London in this epic year alongside artists selected as the talent of the future at The Mall Galleries, The Mall, London SW1Y, 20-25 August.
In the Main Gallery, members of the FBA will present their views of London to celebrate London 2012. Taking us on a tour through the city, the exhibition will document London’s landmarks, as well as its lesser-known corners, through the eyes of its established artists.
In The Threadneedle Space, the Mall’s new contemporary gallery, FBA Futures will showcase the FBA’s pick of the 2012 degree shows. Society members, together with staff and the Academic Board, present their pick of this year’s graduates, highlighting the potential future of the Federation.
These exhibitions provide a rare opportunity to view the breadth and variation of today’s contemporary artist community, showing established members of the FBA alongside the emerging artists of its future membership.
